these are not my biscuits.

i had nothing to do with this buttery goodness.

my husband baked them.

all i did was hold on to my mother’s biscuit recipe for the past 17 years.

buttery biscuits

mix with a pastry blender until the texture of cornmeal, 2 c. flour, 1 T. baking powder,                    1 T. sugar, 1/2 t. cream of tartar, 1/4 t. salt, 1/2 c. cold butter then add 3/4 c. cold milk.  pat dough together into a rectangle, cut into squares and bake 10-12 min at 450. slather with butter, honey, jelly or cal’s favorite, sausage gravy.
