chicken garlic pizza. the original recipe is here

here’s what i did.

whole wheat pizza crust

mix together: 1 pkg, dry yeast, 1/4 cup water and 1 tsp sugar and set aside 5 minutes

in another bowl mix together:  3/4 cup warm water, 1 egg, 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 1/2 tsp salt then mix in the yeast mixture, 2 cups whole wheat flour and 1 cup white flour. remove from bowl and knead in up to 1/2 cup white flour until you have a smooth dough (if you use olive oil on your hands while kneading the dough it won’t stick and you’ll need less flour). place in oiled bowl covered with a damp towell and let rise until doubled in bulk. punch down and stretch over pizza pan.

pizza topping

dice two chicken breasts, saute until brown in 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 clove garlic, sliced. remove the garlic. chop two tomatoes and a handful of green onions.

for the sauce mix together, 3 cloves garlic, chopped, 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 1/3 cup parmesan cheese and 1/3 cup ranch dressing. spread the sauce over the crust, top with chicken, tomatoes, green onions (leaving part of the pizza with just chicken for the picky eaters in your life) top with 3-4 handfuls of mozzarella cheese. bake at 400 degrees until the crust is crunchy and the cheese  is bubbly.
