this week i was blessed to have the opportunity to work at the kids’ school for their annual ag camp. we spent 3 days measuring, mixing and baking in the kitchen. the kids also rotated to the garden where they weeded and harvested, art where they created a mural and made beautiful magnets and lego robotics which speaks for itself. the week also included tye dying their own camp shirt, solar bracelets and s’mores and banana boats in their very own solar ovens. today was their farmer’s market where they sold the things they created this week. what a blessed place.
ms. twila from the convenience store let us use her parking lot for our farmer’s market and then fed us pizza before we left. you should really try her pizza, it’s yummy.
the most coveted job was holding the signs by the road so you could wave at the truckers and hope they would honk their horn. most did.
