good question

lately i have been feeling the need to simplify our playlist.  i want the kids to be grounded in family and faith. i want them to have experiences, interests and activities but i also want to have dinner with them every night, talk about their day every night,  read stories every night and tuck them into bed and pray with them every night. i want them to be connected to me and i want to be connected to them. as the start of school grows closer we find ourselves inundated with various activities they could participate in. we could easily have someplace to be every night of the week. i won’t let that happen. this may be the school year that we take a few steps back and refresh our connection to family and faith.

  1. That is very wise. Don’t let your schedule dictate your life until you and your family have no room to breathe or just be a family. It’s so easy to do! So many fun and worthwhile activities Beckon.

    Happy simplifying!
